I made an early January trip up to my favorite fishing spot in Michigan's thumb for some quick and on point action recently. While it was a little cold, it was well worth the effort at the end of the day. The targeted Lake Trout seemed to vanish from their fall spawning grounds, leaving one other active option......BROWNIES!
